About this calculator

How does this calculator work?

It takes the calls you miss in a week, your average job value, and how often you close an estimate. It assumes about 67 percent of missed callers never call back, which matches the published research that most people will not leave a voicemail and simply dial the next company.

Is every missed call a lost job?

No, and we do not count it that way. Some people call back or leave a message. But most do not, and those are the ones this shows you.

What can I actually do about it?

Answer faster. Not by trying harder, which does not work when your hands are full, but by putting a system on it that answers every call in under 60 seconds, day or night, and books the estimate for you.

Is this number a guarantee?

No. It is an estimate built from your own inputs, meant to show you the size of the leak. Your real number depends on your market, your close rate, and your capacity.

That number is not a rounding error.

Book a call and we will show you exactly how to stop it. If we cannot make the math work for your operation, we will tell you.
